The latest Homefront trailer shows the start of what Kaos Studios are calling the "Second American Revolution". Homefront has you playing a member of the American resistance in a dystopian future in which North and South Korea have united and formed a military state hell bent on oppressing the USA.

these guys made the Desert Combat mod for Battlefield 1942 and it is regarded as the best mod EVER! They also worked on Battlefield 2 @ Dice. I played their last shooter called Frontlines...I played it on PC was impressed by it...too bad it didn't sell well...

I think you guys should give this a chance. I mean all shooters have bad stories that shouldn't let you from playing the game.

so this is by frank delisef and the like? hmm interesting i used to talk to them on the bf1942 forum back in the day and played a ton of desert combat, ur right best mod ever probably.

no they worked on Battlefield 2 the pc version before being let go and then they formed Kaos Studio...first game was Frontlines Fuels of War and second is Homefront

EDIT: When I say worked I mean they were developing Battlefield 2 just before it shipped and the studio was shut down. Kinda sad....Desert combat was TOO awesome

I liked the Frontlines demo...I also bought the game twice!! Once on D2D and again on Steam (super cheap of course)

I mean multi-console strategy obviously hurt them...if they were pc exclusive their games would be a lot better. They are similar to Dice nowadays...forced to work on consoles for better sales

Frontlines had a lot of good things going for it but it never quite felt all that together to me. Even patched up the game is sorta jumpy and buggy.
