Hoopworld is a very arcadish basket ball (or basket brawl) game that will be released on Xbox Live Arcade next spring. The developers have released these renders of the levels along with some artworks. The quality of these is quite surprising considering this game will cost only 1200 points...

Quite expensive!
The game looks great.
I just hope we get the real Powerstone on Live arcade..
I think people whining about the price should realise that this sort of game would have cost $20-$30 last gen because of the overheads of publishers, duplicators and game stores.

That Indian looks like he pwns.
I think there is fair concern about the price--it's not about the physical cost of a single title--people just want to make sure there is great value within the marketplace. When they're charging a couple bucks for a theme etc--I think this is a pretty valid concern.
That said, Billiards already broke the 400-800 credit pricepoint on launch..so I can't say I'm suprised. Add to this the fact that this is an original title and not some emulated classic, and the price doesn't seem too far off base.
I love XBLA..what a great way for smaller/indy devs to get a shot at cheap console dev.
Game looks fun, I love arcadey type sports games.
A skinny white man in a suit with briefcase, or a man in a KKK suit, i thought this kind of racial stereotyping was almost gone, i was obviously wrong.
They're just wacky characters, nothing racist about it.
I mean look at the white people, a goth, a cowboy, an army-girl and an american cheerleader. I fail to see how these are normal white people, stop being so sensitive. They're just famous characters from each of our cultures. They're not trying to say that all native american's are like that.
Can you imagine if it had all those other characters and then a normal black person. It just wouldn't go with the game.

Anyone know what the red star on the green ball means, if it means anything?

ah yes, these are the guys that created the Onslaught gametype for Unreal Tournament 2004. (which just happened to be a huge success).
