One of our readers found the HQ version of the Quantum Break presentation from a few weeks ago at Gamescom on Remedy's vimeo page, and told us about it. So of course we just had to put here it too, so many thanks to him!

This is so awesome in so many ways, I cannot wait. That sound alone is worth it. Also looks really "God-Like" to play. If only they hadn't switched Jack :(
Nice to see the gamescom presentation and in much better fidelity. I'm able to see more of the subtle details better now. it looks phenomenal, the performance doesn't drop one bit, not even with all that distortion stuff, spread fire and shell casings. it also looks very clean. good job to remedy!
I really hope remedy can keep us more in the loop with this game, it's been in the shadows for far too much time. we've only seen 4 videos of this title and 2 of them have been the same area. i look forward to it's release.

LOL! I was going to say... you haven't been in the right threads on this site. It used to be super-civil, with people abiding by the "Important: No Trolling" disclaimer at the bottom of every reply. But, recently, that seems to have gone out the window, in favor of people comparing resolution of screenshots vs. actually enjoying the games in motion.

Yep it is unfortunate. I've been a member of this site since it was Xboxsyde. Hate to say it, but it really just seems like people who own PS4's only are dicks, not realizing the XB1 and PS4 are basically the same damn thing. PS4 has a wee bit more power. But, according to PS4 only people, the PS4 is like a generation ahead of the XB1. Very, very funny shit really.

Well, they DO start the resolution and FPS talk 90% of the time. It starts with the PS4 people talking shit then leads to the XB people talking shit back. PC only people are uber dicks as well. I don't remember this much shit talk last gen when 360 games looked better than PS3 games.

The overdone, distracting effects are making everyone think that but the textures look bad, the art style looks bad, the gameplay looks terribly generic, and the lol @ the character models' faces looking like regular everyday people. Very good attitude dude. Just because u don't like it doesn't necessarily mean it will suck. A lot of people really liked the demo and imo it it has a very unique art style with the time bending effects, the heavy use of yellows, bloom. I understand some people may don't like it.

Overall I think it looks great and it is very recognisably Remedy. The lightinelyg and textures are impressive, while the geometry seems good, but not exceptional. This is a remedy trait and I think it pays off here. In AW I definitely noticed a lot of stuff being a bit poly starved. Colours are very blown out which is interesting. Effects are absolutely crazy. They are taking a risk with this one and I like that.

Seems like you are part of the problem actually. Also, I remember the older gamersyde days. This was still an excellent site. Difference was most of the fanboys were xbox only...Again, you come across as what you are ragging on.

Environments are being described to have “large scale destruction events” and “dynamic time of day,” . The game will featurea a " physically based deferred renderer " system for time-lapsing. And will also feature real time global illumination and ambient occlusion.
