Well I will probably buy this game and the next-gen version as well!

Capcom said that if you buy Rearmed you get to use the old character model in the new one, so I personally can't wait to own both.

3 new Rearmed gameplay

PS. I wish Konami could really upgrade Contra into next-gen, that and do what Capcom did with the classic BC, would be awesome.

Is this a remake of the arcade version or the NES version?

WOW, this is so great. Feeling like a child again. Bring more of those classics, please...
Now some nice remakes of Cadillacs and Dinosaurs, Knights of the round, King of Dragons, and some SNK games.

Lol

Anyways, it looks cool. I never played the original (either arcade or nes) but i've heard so much good about it that a remake of it must be worth playing at least :)

hmm.. I think the sideway view is much more charming and appropriate for the hook gameplay wise. But I guess the topdown view does give some variety in some sense...

still.. Looks great. Day one purchace, no doubt.

this will be one of those rare moments when I buy the PS3 version of a game when it's available on PS360 - a shame that Microsoft doesn't wanna raise the size-limit of XBLA titles ... I mean some demos even have more than one Gigabyte, not to forget some movies that have a couple of 100 megabytes ... if it's only because of the memory-card capacity, then release bigger ones for crying out loud ... ;))

ps3 version supports psp remote play if that's your thing.

also if you have the next gen version + rearmed on the same machine, you can get some extra skin or something, can't remember exactly what.
