i hope the game isnt as flat as this trailer makes it seem. it's all very well being able to say we have the bigget area of land to race on in any game EVER...but when its all as flat as that...who really cares.

i think this is for the fans of dakar rallys more so then the fans of motorstorm.

I've seen from other images and videos that there's definitely a lot of variety throughout the land. There's quite a bit of flat areas but also plenty of more hilly areas with jumps and mountains to climb.

This looks like it could be so much fun. Please Asobo, don't fuck up on the controls/physics.

yes, but it's still flat in the sense you are just plowing up or down a smooth incline. there are jumps but they're about as exciting as those seen in the ATV, MX or dakar games. which i never liked. it's looking more and more like a run of the mill offroad racer, rather then a standout one. the weather MAY make it exciting, but the scale isnt doing the game any favours imo. it's just too "flat"

but i guess if you're more a fan of the flatland racing type offroaders rather then the "crazy" offroaders this is definately the one to watch.

Well after seeing this trailer im a bit dissapointed. I was expecting more pure-like gameplay and enviroment, which makes me "crazy offroader lover" Anyway I gotta keep my finger crossed.

one thing that could sell this game to me is a smugglers run type multiplayer, capture the flag etc. i mean, it has the wide open areas, why not diversify it's multiplayer to go beyond just racing?

Smuggler's Run that was rockstars games as far as I remember hehe but Ur right, going beyond standart racing could make things more interesting but devs nowadays dont care 'bout "going beyond" just for making money.

i know it was, i was saying that i hope the developers of this game put in some multiplayer modes LIKE smugglers run just to diversify the experience a bit. if you have a giant world to drive in, may as well go beyond just racing.

motorstorm PR ripoff with varying weather conditions ?

hmm... not too interested but their other racing games like F1 2009 and CM dirt2 will be better for sure.
