anyway, i think this looks awesome. obviously the game doesnt have THAT high a level of AA, but it's obvious the game looks great from the gameplay footage they've released. can't wait personally, loved the first one.
Gameplay may be fun but the character design is simply awful, IMO, stereotypical tattooed badass meets carnie.
If they fix all the bugs and nagging parts of the gameplay, then it might be ok, but i can't see this game ever being anything to get excited about. Just my opinion though so no flaming kids....
as for that Halo comparison by Korndog, Halo was a sci-fi game with aliens and alien worlds, talk about apples and oranges buddy...

as for liking this game, as far as co-op experiences go, i enjoyed it more then pretty much everything else out there. sure it had issues, but as far as fun goes, it was top of my list really. sure as hell beat the likes of gears of war's co-op campaign or cod WAW's etc. the more co-operative a game feels the better. and army of two was the best example of that since the co-op in SC: chaos theory. the sequel looks to be improving every aspect of what made the first game so great.
As for gameplay, that's great you like it. You are certainly in the vast minority for thinking it was a more fun co-op experience than Gears or CoD, but not everyone has the same taste. Yes Ao2 had a lot of co-op heavy gameplay elements, I (like the majority of people who reviewed the game) thought that those things were not done well much at all.
No matter how much you do stuff with a partner, it still drags it down when the core gameplay mechanics are so rushed and clunky. Aiming alone was a joke compared to most shooting games. I'd say the co-op in Horde mode on Gears or the co-op in ODST are miles and miles better (more fun) than Ao2. but we all have our own opinions...
It appears you cant please anyone on this website, you go to the screenshot section for flashpoint and everyone complains that the game is too grey, then you come here and everyone complains that there is too much colour. Do you people like anything?
Gameplay footage looks fun to me, but with the amount of slack the first game got I will approach the sequel with extreme caution.
