Xbox 360 PS3

Capcom released this new series of Bionic Commando images. The game's demo available since a few days certainly divided the opinions, people seem to either love it, or hate it.
Update: Added a trailer of that demo.

Not expecting too much from this one but it might turn out OK if they get the swinging mechanic right in the final product.

LOL. the ps2 cant even handle to render his hair. only the smoke and the fire looks a bit crap, but the rest rocks, play the demo and you will see.

There are some interesting aspects to the gameplay (grapple is fun to use), but overall it left a 'been there done that' feeling upon me. Though I can't directly compare it to anything off the top of my head.

The menu is cool as hell though.

Wow, what happened to the crisp graphics from the trailers? I haven't played the demo (yet), because it's only on Xbox360 and I don't have an online connection at the moment for my console. Is it a multiplayer only demo?
yip its a multiplayer demo. The gfx are really bad atm >.< but taken into acount it is the multiplayer side of things. still got high hopes for the singleplayer :)

You either need to get your eyes examined, or revisit the PS2. Either way, this looks absolutely nothing like any PS2 game.

The multiplayer demo felt a bit bland and gimmicky, but the gameplay was fine and the grapple was awesome and worked really well, i think the single player part of the game will be good.

Yep that's what i think too . Single player will rock and multiplayer will be fun but just for a few days or so . Trailer and pics look real fine but multiplayer demo looks a bit "uncomplete" graphics wise ... gameplay rocks btw .

And idd the menu's cool as hell :)

I play the multiplayer demo everyday, its pretty fun once you get the grapple hook down. Alot of possibilities with the swinging and stuff.

I think most single player pics have looked really nice (this batch not as much) and find it hard to believe that MP demo was from the same game. That demo looked like trash and played average at best, if not just poor. Some like it, but most thought it was quite poor from who i've talked to.

I really hope the SP part of the game can be as good as i'm hoping.

The demo was just bad because the MP was very laggy and matchmaking was horrendous. I only ever got in 2 games before I deleted the demo, 1 was incredibly laggy, 1 was alright lag-wise, but not as smooth as it could/should be.

I still have hope for the SP part of the game.

The only way these graphics are PS2-like at all is there doesn't seem to be a ton of highly detailed objects in the screens. A square room with 2 enemies and a few crates isn't horribly complicated. Otherwise the graphics seem fine.

Thats weird, ive played atleast 60 matches and never had lag. Either the match starts or it won't. Meaning the count down for start begins and we either get kicked out before the match or it starts. It has never lagged on me tho(not to say it won't)

when will companies learn, this cant compete with the big boys of multiplayer out there... release a single player demo and let me know whether this will be worth buying or not cuz so far? I cant even waste money to rent this.

So you're saying no games should include multiplayer other than Gears, Halo, Killzone and Call of Duty? People complain enough about paying for Xbox Live as it is, cutting down their available games by 90% would end in murder.
