Xbox 360

Cavia released these 13 images of Bullet Witch. Some are rather good looking, others very average. Let's just hope it's not just a mix of CG and realtime images...

I feel like the game would be an awesome blast to play with..yet isn't upto standard with other xbox360 games..

I want good things for this game, and the premise , gameplay looks sweet..but graphics being so unpar with other games is putting me off.

and i keep getting the feeling the animation isn't going to be 360 degree, more like 40 degree angles when you move the character..like the last gen

Apart from the fire, which looks weird and really needs to be a light source, I think the graphics look good. Not Mass Effect or anything, but still good.

Graphics aside, this looks like it's going to be cool.

It's looking pretty good to me, I would say it's only slighty worse graphically than Lost Planet.

I've noticed a trend with Japanese dev's that they tend to upgrade the graphics over the development cycle (Lost Planet, Dead Rising and some others)

Probably because they have a steeper learning curve.

this game will obviously not be a GRAW or Lost Planet, in terms of production values, but it looks interesting. i think it could be fun, although we've seen teh same few stages repeatedly and it makes me wonder if the game is really short.

LOL slightly worse than lost planet... (BULLS#*T) I'm interested in this game, but it looks nowhere nearly as good as lost planet...

That was probably a bait comment guess it worked pretty well then eh :) I think this is just their warmup title for the console to learn more about it the main event for these guys is the game they are making with mistwalker for the 360. The game is called Cry On with sakaguchi heading up the project. I think the talents of these guys will really be shown off in that title which likely wont show up until 2008 or 2009.

I think all the screens look great. They really need to release a 720p gameplay video though so we can see what this looks like in HD.

They should have called this game Bloodrayne 3 because thats what it looks like.

btw Lost Planet doesn't look as great as some people hype it up to. The reason people think it looks so awesome is because of the motion blur on everything and the explosion effects, both make it look really cinematic. Everything else is just kinda average looking. Oh yeah and the smooth framerate and animations make it look good too.

Animations in Lost Planet are ok, except for the G.I Joe character animations, (as I saw someone call it on another site) where the upper body moves seperately from the bottom part of the body, just like one of those G.I Joe puppets, lol.

Dunno about this game, looks ok, nothing amazing.

Not really. It does have a "superhuman woman vs. demons" scenario, which is similar to Bloodrayne, but not much else. In terms of gameplay, they're not even really the same genre. Bullet Witch is a shooter, while Bloodrayne is more about melee action along with some acrobatic platforming stuff.

You sure you're not thinking of Vampire's Rain? That one at least actually has vampires.

No it wasn't a bait, although i knew you would have something to say about it as usual.

Tell ya what if i say something you don't like, don't replay to it, if it bothers you that much.

Well I try to avoid them at all costs, but I can't help but replying to something I feel is completely misinformed or a bit bias.

Just like you make it your business to defend the ps3 (since you say nobody else will) usually on this site. (no i'm not calling you a fanboy, but I'm saying me defending lost planet or anything else is very similar to what you've done for the ps3 on here) One could say you could ignore negative things regarding the ps3, but you don't why? Maybe because its hard to keep quiet when you see something you REALLY disagree with :)

Well im not the only person in this thread that has said Lost Planet isn't all that spectacular, so just maybe there is some truth behind it.

Most of the stuff i read here about the PS3 is nonscene (fanboy spin) most of which is posted by you, and i don't see any point in bitching about a games console. (especially one which isn't out)

Im confused why you are even bringing this up however, other than to provoke a responce from me.

I'm with you. Well, actually I think Lost Planet is spectacular, but in terms of just the quality of the models and textures, it's not much better than Bullet Witch. Not that that's bad or anything, as I said above, I think Bullet Witch does look good.

It's a 3rd person shooter, with magic powers in addition to guns.

Some of the trailers include gameplay footage. Check it out: http://www.xboxyde.com/news_3066_en.html

I know what you mean Blim. It does seem like it's all in-game though. At least I hope so.
and Eddy. I've said this before, but this game kind of reminds me of Gunvalkyrie from the original XBOX. I enjoyed that one, even with the unwieldy controls and other glitches in thinking. I welcome more of the same.
