Plastic clothing ... bad. Low-quality texture filtering ... bad. Bland environments ... bad. Soldiers' feet are partially inside the ground geometry ... bad. The game looks like it's going to be yet another typical WW2 shooter ... really bad. I wonder where the next-gen games are.

Hakkiz, you need to see the new gameplay video in the September OXM foo! This game is not a typical WW2 shooter.

Ok, its mud, but I really can't tell. Mud should be soft and I assume you know how a muddy road looks when dozens of people have ran by. I think next-gen games should look better and more realistic than this. To make games look more realistic, game environments should be more dynamic - to allow you to leave your footprints on the mud. I really don't need those extra texture layers nor next-gen consoles if the environments are still dead as rocks.

Don't forget: this is a first-generation next-gen title. I think developpers need a 'little' time to come up with photorealistisc graphics.

No, no, no - it's not the graphics actually. Next-gen is about physics, AI and randomized content so every character, every tree, every plant and even every animation/movement is unique. You can't make next-gen games just by upgrading graphics. I'd like to see some totally new games and genres also because I'm fed up with shooters, racers, console adventures and sports.
