Xbox 360

Sega has released some more images of Chromehounds, as a part of their series of images presenting new maps. This time it's all about the map Tarakia, which seems to be the same map that was playable at E3.

I've been interested, It just keeps looking better everytime they release new screens. I just hope I don't have my hopes up too much.

There are some really crazy HOUND configurations in these screens and the ones on IGN. Shows how customisable the game really is, the balancing of weapons seems to be well implemented aswell.

It looks boring, i've seen tons of images for this game, it just looks like when you play you will be chasing after someone in those huge enviorments. It would be cool if there was like 60 players though.

It isn't a deathmatch game, it's a squad based mech game. It NEEDS huge environments or else it becomes a clusterf**k. The whole point is balancing your squad with the different types of mech and weaponry.

I wasn't actually interested in this title till they played a multiplayer game on Gamespots live show last night - it looked fun as hell and then the guy went on to say its got 80 maps for online and more modes than I could count.

Now I want it.

I really wanted to like this game. But Every screenshot I see it looks so barren, the landscapes and everything are so plain. Like KillaCrow said, looks really boring.

The last fun Mech game I played was Armored Core for Playstation.

Well, suit yourself. I like the look of it.

I'll have a look at a few reviews and then decide whether to buy it.

Small note though: The trees in pic 1 should really cast shadows on the river as well. hmm, I guess that is a hard thing to actually render. and not something you would particularly notice in a game with the scale like this.

I have seen the multiplayer in motion, ok it looks really fun, but the thing that turned me off is when you kill a mech it dissapears before your eyes. Go look at the video on www.gamespot.com .

Yeah, the dissapearing hounds and tanks is reallying bothering me... there isn't any remains or a crater after they are gone. And for years and years now, mechwarrior has allowed you to shoot off arms and legs. Its silly that the hounds go from 100% to completely gone in an instant. Maybe if they dropped the framerate to 30ps they could of added these things and spruced up the environments...

Otherwise this game looks dope and i can't wait to play it!
