Xbox 360

Finnish TV show Pelit has put online some kind of new images of Alan Wake. According to an admin over at the official forums, the images are from an old build from 2006, and many changes have of course been done. It's still nice to look at though, so enjoy the beauty.

Hopefully it'll be free-roam. I just love the setting. Wide open nature, something else than GTA NY...

Remedy doesn't mess around. Max Payne just got a flash light and some trees.

Hopefully he lost the dialogue.

but doesn't this game take use of DX10-shaders? but it would be nice to see such graphics on a €399,-- console

Talk about the video they showed the engine in action, was more darker then Doom 3 itself... so LOL.

So far they showed us just boring lame environment pictures, I want to see REAL game play some times, been 2 darn years now. Show us something.
Or have they just putted into so much into everything else then actually putting it to the most important part, aka game play.

Just when you think that this game can`t get any better, they pull screenies like this out of the bag. Simply awesome!. The truck to the right hand side of the last pic looks like it`s floating though lol, but if this is still as far away as they say it is, then I`m sure it will be nothing but pure gaming perfection !. Well done :0)

One of the major advancements in dx10 is geomtry shaders. Something the 360 can actually do. I think MS said that the version of dx in the 360 was something like 9.5. Dx9 with a few features added. One was geomtry shaders achieved by slaving a core. Too my knowledge it hasnt been used yet. Maybe this does.
