PS3

Annonnced a few days ago in Famitsu, Demon's Souls now gets his first image gallery. This Action-RPG is developed by From Software, and since it's publisher by Sony it's of course a PS3 exclusive title.

I so much hope this'll be turn-based. I really need a good turn based jrpg. Note the J.

@ prodygee )

it isn't turn based, it's a bit oblivion style, but the devs were quick to point out that you can't win battles by just beating on them/relying on your reflexes, you need a strategy (and I hope they really manage to implement that into the game decently)

Get your fix somewhere else then because this is a action RPG (thank god, especially when the Japs are making it).

Now I am interested in it, but I need to see the combat, if its good and all.
Atleast the combat is real-time, but I doubt the combat itself will be satistfying...probably be a few animation for attacking, like Oblivion.

But when the time is right (TGS?) I will look out for a footage.

Looking good, looks like it could be interesting. It's playable at TGS, so will be looking forward to impressions.

There is no gameplay footage for this game and its already playable at TGS?
Weird.

Anyone remember the King's field, KF2, Shadow tower series on ps1? Even if those games got cold press reactions at their time, i think they had some good ideas and atmosphere. I think this one will end in a very different game thou.

Finally what looks like a real rpg! Dark and evil as it should be. And no children around. Too bad its PS3 only though. But maybe this will be my excuse for buying one?

Looks nice and it's hard for me to tell which ones might be cut-scenes and which are gameplay. Now, all we need is some info on the play mechanics and story.

real-time (Mass Effect style) over turn-based any day for me I`m afraid!!. Turn-based just feels too linear for my liking and very boring to boot. I need full control to be excited. Mind you though, by looking at these screens, I may just pick it up even if it is turn-based.

From Software making an Action-Rpg? Cool. Can't wait till TGS to see how this game pans out.

That does look interesting -- Shadow of the Collusus + Ico + Oblivion?
I was kind of worried when I heard that From Soft was working on it, but this looks very promising.

looks nice art style wise. definately like the darker look, in terms of how it plays, who knows. the fact its an action RPG and not a turn based one is already a good sign tho.
