Looks very nice, the first one was one of those "almost" great games, this one looks much improved, especially the environments and character variety.

JESUS FRAKKING CHRIST, THAT IS AWESOME!!!!

That's gotta be the DX10 version, that simply can't be the 360 version!!

So that I have this straight. This game is 4-player co-op, and your team can not only crawl all over the Akrid, Shadow of the Colossus-style, and damage them that way, but also get inside of them as well, and damage them from the inside out while your team mates continue to lay waste to the giant beasts on the outside?

SOLD!!!!

Capcom hasen't denied a PS3 version, but now they are focusing on 360 version.
I hope this comes out on PS3 as well and isn't as horrible (graphically) as the first one was.

I liked the first LP quite alot, unique environment and concept, and this one looks very great. If it comes out on PS3 and I had enough money and the situation for me was right, I will pick it up.

Jungle environment looks great!

EDIT: a PC-version hasn't been announced yet.
Kotaku's report on LP2 at CAP. says it was running off a PC and not the 360. They're still mum on PS3/PC versions though because they're focused on the 360 version.

Lost Planet was a great game, but the (mini) bosses every 5 minutes killed the fun a bit. The graphs for the sequel look kick ass though :)

Looks very good graphically, but IF thats PC gameplay a lot of people are goiing to be left disappointed when they get their hands on the 360 version.

That's definitly 360 version, capcom never disapointed this gen, and MT framework engine is a beast, they said it was even enhanced from the version running RE5. So i'm confident they'll deliver.

They were running it off a PC for the presentation, but the game is still being developed for the 360 (PC/PS3 version have not been announced) the said they had it running on 360 at the studio. This is a new version of the MT Framework Engine (MT Framework 2.0)

No. Every Capcom game is built on the PC, that doesn't confirm a PC release (but of course it will happen)

Side note: What is with this video? Dead Rising vid plays fine on my PC but for some reason this one fully taxes my CPU and will not play smooth.

It'll be out on the 360 first. I'm assuming the ps3 version will follow about 6 to 9 months later. Just curious, why don't you just pick it up on the 360?

They will either announce a PS3 version to release it with the 360 later on, or release it a few months later after the 360 launch.

I would probably pick it up IF I had a 360, but I have yet to see a good 360 exclusive within the genre i like that that really makes me go wild and go buy the console
For me it was NG2, but considering NGS2 is coming to PS3, its all good.

I had a 360 a few months ago, but made a very dumb decision on selling it, but ah well, I am in no hurry to buy it again. I am looking forward more to the upcoming PS3 exclusives than I am on 360 (even if I had a 360 right now)
If I would buy it again (wont be anytime soon, maybe not even this year), it would be cheaper and would get one with a HDMI with it.

I hope that answered your question :)

dam, that trailer was pretty dam epic, LP2 looks to be shaping up excellently, and looking at capcom's track record this gen, they have done excellently. LP1 was also great so I have every faith in this title and Capcom in producing yet more quality.

lol @ you nubs who think this is the console version. those graphics are practically crysis like. it is the PC version which i bet will release a few months after the console versions (in order to hold off piracy).

i wouldnt go that far. lol

graphics are indeed nice tho. it's the gameplay i'm worried about. really didnt like the first game at all. and this is looking incredibly similar, but with jungle instead of snow. i also hope they have changed that god awful aiming system they had in the first game...felt like i was playing a wii with one of those invisible boxes in the middle of the screen.
