Xbox 360 PS2 Xbox

Activision released a bunch of X360, PS2 and XB images of X-Men The Game of the Movie, together with a trailer presenting the very pink Giant Sentinel. The voice-acting seems kind of strange though - "... picca..bo.."? On the plus side, the X360 version doesn't look as bad as it did last time.

I just don't understand why they can't just stick to making this an xbox game and having it BC for xbox360? xbox fans will be happy..xbox360 fans will be happy...

It's not like xbox is in competition with xbox360.

Hey, atleast it looks better than Tony Hawk and Gun. I havn't watched the trailer yet but the 360 version doesn't look that bad, considering it's a port it could have been a hell of a lot worse. The biggest issue I think will be low poly geometry. Hopefully they will remove all the PS2/XBox textures, there is nothing I hate more than a game with half high res nice textures and half PS2 like crappy blurry textures. All or nothing!

I'll probably pick this up for 360 since I am a big X-men fan. Does anyone know if they are using the actors voices from the movies?

Agreed. I just can't understand why such shitty games are even allowed to be developed. MS needs some serious QC.

Uh, because people will buy them?

DUH! not everyone who has a 360 knows what it is capable of. Some will just say: 'hey i feel like a super hero game. hey! i'll buy the 360 version of X-men'

Its business. And until a lot of you learn what that means, shut up.

And if anybody thinks that the xbox/ps2 images look indistinguishable from the 360 screens, you're smoking some twisted crack. It's certainly not the best looking 360 title to date, but it's not the worst either (Yea for Gun!).

It definitely looks better than earlier 360 screens - not great mind you, but good enough that I'd choose to play the 360 version over the ps2/xbox version. And while this is a port, I'd still prefer to have ports released in these, the early days of the console, than have no releases at all.

Now, we'll just have to see how it plays, because there hasn't been a great game starring the X-Men since XM vs SF . . .
