Wii

Battle of the Bands, known before as Band Mashups, is a videogame really similar to Guitar Hero developed for the Nintendo Wii. In fact, if it wasn't from the fact that the songs can go from rock to latin to hip-hop and other styles on a whim, it could be identified as a part of the hit series. Some screens and a trailer are available inside.

Wow, i wonder where they stole this idea from.

Please, god, would someone please tell me why Nintendo would make this crappy rip off of Guitar Hero, and then have the guys who made Rock Band bring their over hyped junk to the console as well???

Never has a Nintendo system sucked so hard.

Haha, you almost make it sound like Harmonix didn't "rip off" every fucking Bemani game in existence. Not that you did it intentionally I'm sure, I don't think one could find facts in your statement with the best of efforts.

Harmonix made GH, then they got bought by MTV and made Rock Band. This game is made by Planet Moon Studios, published by THQ, isn't the first Bemani inspired game to come out and it'll be far from the last.

Nintendo has this great library of Wii games that seemed to be designed to aid your Wii in collecting dust, and you don't even have to buy anything for them to work.

This looks like the aforementioned library's crown jewel.

I'm with Ronsauce on this. I look at the pictures, i watched the trailer...but i just don't want to play it. Why would i when there are WAY better alternatives on, say, the ps2?

I'm flabbergasted by the fact that the wii still sells...people, even the casual artards, should have realized that the wii is crap by now.
