Xbox 360

Developer Lionhead sends these two new images of Fable 2 in preparation for the Xbox 360. What a nice house and a spooky graveyard. The sixth video diary from them should be available really soon!

What is with these grainy images?

But it looks good, other than the screenshot quality.

[edit : I also see a watermark in the first shot, but can't make it out.]

I believe this iteration of the series will be incredible... I'd hate to be a programmer working for Peter.

Loved Fable, and judging from what I've seen so far I'm going to love this one even more.!

There's still things that bother me, mainly the poor animations and close combat, which looks a bit iffy as well.

The graphics are georgeous, except for the characters which look a bit meh imo.

It's "Kotaku" - a gaming blog associated with late news and weeaboos. (Hey I rhymed.)

As for the game... ehhhh. The characters still look hideous, which would be my main detractor.

Graphically I think it's pretty amazing, but these screens don't do the best job of showing that off.

Very atmospheric, awesome semi-real/semi-cartoon design.

Love the mist on the graveyard floor, very ^^ moody

But have these images been resized about 12 times.. they look odd, and yeah crazy looking bird by the castle...looks like a crazy hobo.

i think, like GTA4, you'll have to play it and get up close to it to see the true beauty in its graphics. Also, like gta4, fable's gonna be right up there when it comes to gameplay

.

What really makes me like Fable is its art style with goofy houses, enchanting mood...etc. it just reminds me of Tim Burton movies which is great very esoteric for some odd reason.

And the score, by the small samples from the dev videos and trailers...etc. it seems they are sticking with the samle fortmula of music which is fantastic.

That Tim Burton feeling, I LOVE!

First was great, already have this on preorder for the CE.
Even if there turns out to not be one.

Thank god I am not the only one getting the Tim Burton feel *high five* :D

I LOVED, again, LOVED the first one, it had such a great mood and atmosphere to it, and once the music started kicking in in the village and people talking in good british accent (which I LOVE) I thought to myself...if only Tim Burton could such a movie out of this or similair to it.

I haven't pre-orderd it, because I dont see any reason to pre-order games when theya re more than 2 months away.

I usually pre-order my games in about close as 2 months, maybe even a bit after that if I keep feeling unsure.

But for Fable 2, it is way too long to wait, while MGS4 and NG2 and Haze is right next to the cornerthis month and next month its gonna be one hell of a gaming ride for me!

I really hope Danny Elfman contributes again for the soundtrack.
Fable's Main theme is just "unique" and true to it's own Identity ... I want Moar!

I only preordered cause I have the money now and may not be so well off by release time.

While I wont be playing any of the games you are, I have some to look forward to also-lol.

I still have Fable:LC for xbox, may have to give it another go before Fable 2.

Well, the GTA4 screens (and leaked gameplay streams) made the gfx there look like utter turdshit, yet when actually playing it yourself it looks friggin incredible.
I'd assume its the same here, since Fable 1 was a really nice game to look at :)

Edit: You need to change your description of these screens to say you got them from Kotaku. I can't imagine Lionhead wouldn't have fresh originals without the watermark if they really did send these to you. Otherwise this becomes an outright lie.
