Xbox 360

As you may have heard, five Xbox Live Arcade games will be released this summer, each on a wednesday (see inside). Namco Bandai released these images from their games, Galaga and Pac-man. Added are also some images of Frogger, which was released earlier this week.

The release list for this summer:
12th July – Frogger
19th July – Cloning Clyde
26th July – Galaga
2nd August – Street Fighter II’ Hyper Fighting
9th August – Pac-Man

Has anyone actualy bought Frogger? I just thought the game was crap, because the gameplay was far to repetitive and simple.

I'm only interested in 'Cloning Clyde' and 'Street Fighter II'
(Let's hope they bring 'Miss Pacman' to XBLA)

I bought Frogger. Loved it in the old days and love it now. Obviously a very simple game but it's maddeningly addictive. Mainly because you only ever die if it's your fault, so you can't ever blame the game.

Obviously it won't be everyone's cup of tea but it can be tried for free, so there can't be any complaints.

Personally, I'm looking forward to Galaga more than the others.

it's a shame you can't have splitscreen gaming offline in frogger...

Frogger is proper old skool. Obviously there arent going to be too many moves. But classics are good to bring more people to xbox 360. Cant wait for some more proper old titles.

Would love to see...

Paper Boy
Final Fight
Mr Do
Bionic Commandos
etc.

If you bought Ridge Racer 6 you pretty much already have Pac-Man :)

I'd buy Galaga though, I love that game. Also Street Fighter, finally.

Now we need some Ms. Pac-Man. It's better than Pac-Man.

And who in their right mind bought RR6.

Not with online leaderboards though :D

I bought RR6 and I'm in my right mind. Absolutely classic arcade racer with a superbly placed difficulty curve.

Yea- I bought Frogger. LOVE IT! The game is simple- just like 99% of all 'Arcade' games. That's the point. And this new version with the enhanced graphics (nothing CRaZy or anything, just updated) is addictive as hell! I really think it's a great game that anyone can play and I can't wait for a few more just like it..!

Blah old school games like frogger should be 200 points. How many times to we have to re buy old classics that are only fun for 5 minutes?

Now 4 player online Simpsons Arcade would be well worth 400 points :)

I don't like how the games are so small on the screen. I downloaded the Frogger demo and had to sit close to the tv just to play the game.

Go to the options screen and you can stretch the graphics to fit a full screen TV and a very large chunk of a widescreen tv! I found it on accident and I can't even hint at how much better it makes the game! Being able to see it does that I guess... hahahaha
