Those two are two of the most stupid comments I've ever seen. It will be the first two things people see when they visit the site, and what does that say about our level of discussions here? Come on, you can do better. Or just skip trying.

I think the japanese developers are out to sabotage the 360. I haven't seen one next gen looking japanese 360 exclusive title yet.

Those RR7 pics are barely any better than RR6..

Namco aren;t doing it on purpose they just don't have experience with DX hardware, so it is going to take a while for them to get to grips with the 360 and PS3..

It also makes sense for them to spend more time and money on the PS3 because they will have more sales on the PS3.

yea but they promised that the game is gonna have "movie-quality visuals and a stronger online component from that of the Xbox 360 game" (=IGN) n i think its gonna look a whole lot better than RR6

I've made the same assumption several times myself. However that may not be the case. The japanese developers were strong supporters of the PS2. The console is clearly obsolete, but I think the limitations of the hardware have kept most of them behind. The Xbox hardware was impressive and the potential for very creative devs was always there, but the japanese developers never supported the console with its best titles. Games like Metal Gear Solid3 and Devil May Cry, to name a few, would have obviously been better games on the Xbox. So I guess with a large installed base like the PS2, you go where the money is at. A similar statement was made by Itagaki of Team Ninja ( a japanese developer who firmly supported the Xbox). He said that japanese developers will be behind this generation and that they were being lazy. Don't expect to many breakthrough titles to come from Japan just yet. Games like Blue Dragon and Lost Oddessy will stand out from the crowd because Microsoft will be working closely with the developers up until the projects' release. Now on the other hand if PS3 games from the japanese developers appear to have more quality, conspiracy of sabotage may no longer be an assumption. Does anyone agree with me?

There is no PS3 version, that Gundam game is a totally different game. This one is online focused with gameplay like the Battlefield series while the PS3 game is single player.

Yup i can also make the assumption that most Ps3 games will look better than 360 games, because if you look at what dev's did with the PS2 (which was inferior to the xbox) and then think what the same dev's will do with PS3 games (PS3 having about the same capabilities as the 360).

This gen the graphics difference will be less than it was last gen but the PS3 will look better because dev's will try harder for PS3 games.

I think thats just straight bull...they should try as hard on the 360 as they do on the PS3 , because they would like to make money on the system like anywhere else..so they should be a good amount of work going into 360 games as well, and they wonder why they wont make money on the system , keep making crappy looking games and people wont give a damn about it...So in all i think they should have equal amount of work go into the game on the 360 as they would the PS3...

I think that developers should be required to reach a specific level of approval as far as a games quality. In other words if you create a sub-par title, then it should have a lower price tag than a title of higher quality such as a Splinter Cell game or Halo game. The Gun and Tony Hawk titles got away with murder as they charged an extra 10 dollars for the 360 version compared to the Xbox version. Every game should have an authentic quality rating before it even hits the shelves. From 1-10, if any score is 8 and above, it should be priced accordingly. It would be great for consumer protection. I bought Wrestle Mania21 and the game froze between matches and instant replays. Do you think it was easy trying to get a refund?
