Awesome. Now by multiplayer, do they mean every game is supported over Live or just locally?

People actually buy this stuff? Most of the games are complete ass. I loved Mappy back in the day but i played it again a few years ago and i couldn't stand it for more than 15 minutes or so.

Weird, I can't find any achievement lists for this game. Doesn't it have any?

In US it was only $30. It does include 9 Live Arcade games, so if you haven't bought them yet you actually save a lot buying this disc.

But to answer your question. No, it looks like no one bought this.

I played Mappy some days ago on the DS and it is still a lot of fun to me!!
So different from all the other platformers. These games surely are not complete ass,
I find that many of these old arcade games give me more fun than many of the so cold next gen games. The Pacman and Dig-Dug arrengement versions seem to be upgraded versions from the PSP re-arrengments? Nice! I'll pick it up for sure.
Hopefully it's a budget release here, too.

Taizo: so is that nostalgia talking or do you actually think that Mappy is better than a current AAA game? :P

No nostalgia as I never played the original arcade. It's a platformer that's so very fresh and different from others. I agree with your comment that these games are better played in short bouts, though, heh.

I want them to release Kabuki - Quantum Fighter on XBLA, only because my NES is so temperamental! It's a brilliant little game that sucks you right in. I am getting a replacement 72 pin connector for it, so hopefully it'll mean I can play the game when I want to, rather than when it decides to work!

These games do still have a place, to remind everyone where this all started!

Had to try it when you mentioned it but really...games like Batman and Ninja Gaiden are way more deserving of attention :)

loved that game, probably my fave NES title next to double dragon.

took the best bits of batman and ninja gaisen and made a better game then both imo.

what version of those games are you referring to?
The arcade NG is one of the worst games ever made. That's not just popular opinion, it's fact... that game is a suck fest.

Plumb: Maybe i should have been more specific, but as Kabuki is a nes game i sort of thought that i might not need to mention that i was talking about nes games as well :)
