EA has become their own worst enemy. everyone expects crap from them, and when something looks good noone believes them because of their questionable business practices; with these "bullshots" and whatnot. They have noone to blame but themselves.
Hopefully this is good, im a fan of the series, havent liked it much lately(Carbon sucked). Them images mean nothing cuz we know better when it comes to EA.lol. But again hopefully this game turns out to be good.
imo it looks better than forza2 and I can't believe this comes from EA. I hope for some ingame videos looking like this. but I expect more jaggies and worse textures.
carbon really disappointed me. I think it'll be good for the series to change the setting (especially the cops in carbon nerved so much). it simply isn't a big thing anymore to have a open city where you can go everywhere, even burnout will have this soon. so I really hope for something new, the last parts of the series didn't have anything new and (what's the word for "bahnbrechend"? ^^) at all.

if it was some other companies, (Konami for example PES) u will se dissepointing screenshots at firs, then u will see the shots improve before the game comes out, with EA its the other way around
Please people don't compare this to games like Forza. NFS is an arcade racer, all game power and disc space can go to pretty graphics while Forza has to compromise their physics with hardware memory.
I’m impressed with the anti-aliasing + detail and all I’m going to say is I believe it when I see it…never say never, until then pretty renders :)
As someone said, the smoke effects have been wowing everyone who's gone and seen the game in action. These easily look in-game. We'll see at E3 whether it holds up in motion.
If only the consoles were 15 times more powerful so they could render at 4048x2280 and then downscale with precise bicubic on the fly at 60 frames per second.
