Xbox 360

Microsoft announced a few hours ago that this week we would get not one but two XBLA releases: The classic Gyruss from Konami for 400 points, and the quite nice 3D Ultra Minigolf Adventures from Sierra. Images of the latter in the news.

If they get this right it could be majorly fun. I think what would be really awesome is a minigolf game that let you design your own courses and then play them on xbox live.

looks cool.
I just wish Microsoft would diversify their games more.

How much more diverse than MINIGOLF do you need?

this is gorgeous for an XBLA game. MS is doing a good job.

On a side not i think Table Tennis should be remade for XBLA. 20 bux. It didnt do well in retail cos the game didnt have enough offerings, even tho it was a great ping pong and sports game in general.

I think it's kinda ugly personally (mini golf). Table Tennis wouldn't work as an XBLA game -- it'd be far too large for their standards. It's a great game though, and it can be picked up at retail for probably as much if you look for a good deal on it.

But yeah, I don't think this looks great for an arcade game personally.. looks cheap and the art direction is a total mess. Not really commenting on the gameplay though, and the idea of a mini-golf game could be interesting..
