Day one purchase!

Not exactly the most popular sentiment voiced in relation to a Kinect game, I am sure. But when the core members of Team Andromeda get together to create a game, I don't care what name they are calling themselves these days, the game they are working on is an automatic day one purchase - these guys are just that good. So yeah, day one purchase, for sure.

Looks nice but I'll only pick it up if it can be played like a regular game on a pad. The juddery, wildly inaccurate and foolish mess that is kinect is a train wreck in every possible way, and I never want to have to use one again.

As for the Panzer heritage, I have and love every Panzer game. They're all phenomenal, particularly Orta which may well have been my favourite Xbox 1 game.

According to some JAP neogaf members - game plays really well with Kinect.
I'll pick up the MS gimmick just for that game. Panzer Dragoon is one of my favourite game series ever. I would be crazy if skip next title from the same guys.

@Korn - bet you are the only one :)

i'm sure i am, i hear nothing but rave opinions on it, so it's clearly a much loved franchise. just never understood why myself. it's a bit like REZ..aside from it's aesthetic, i never "got" that game either. just a short, easy, kinda boring on-rail shooter to me?

Have to agree, first game I played was Zwei on the Saturn, absolutely loved it. But then I got Saga, and OMG I realized nothing could possibly top this, art, sound, gameplay and story were just top notch (trumped FF7 easily IMO). I was so disappointed that Orta was just a rail shooter, and all the dragons looked more like giant beetles. I'm glad they've gone back to the old look (not liking the long arms), and this looks like it has some RPG elements.

Looks like I might have to buy a kinect now

There's a pic around showing a japanese guy playing the game with a traditional controller, so i *guess* that Kinect is just an option, really.

I kinda wish they'd just make a proper Panzer Dragoon instead of this kinect bullshit :P

Hoping that kinect is optional.

I never liked Panzer and have never liked rail shooters in general. It's nice to look at though judging from the screens and integrating Kinect into this might make this type of game more interesting to interact with.

Nothing plays well with Kinect. The technology is fundamentally broken. Even the voice recognition is at best, very early alpha level. It's a dreadful product in every way.

I also play games to RELAX, not to stand up and wave my arms around like a nut job.
