I didn't realize there was such a thing as a "generic dwarven city". I've been wasting money on the brand name for years!

I for one am very excited about this game.

Yes, but here is an example of where the art direction can give it a distinctive flavor that feels like there was a culture and history behind it. Unlike, say, Risen...

It's a city underground. There isn't much more you can do with it. With no sky to bring in a lot of light you can't use a bunch of colors.

It may be cliche but it's by far the best looking dwarven city I have ever seen.
