Koei diffuses a new salvo of images for its Dynasty Warriors 6 on the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 systems. The french release date being scheduled for March 6, 2008, the developers still have plenty of time to polish the graphics. Beware the tigers!

I don't like KOEI, too many expansions, too little changes, poor graphics.
It's the exact same appeal. They're super simple and super satisfying. You can't create a trailer for SoR that makes it look awesome, but the punching of faces has this endlessly hypnotizing quality about it that you really can't convey in pictures. Sure, DW look a bit rough around the edges but they capitalise on a style of game nobody else does anymore and throws truckloads of characters on you to keep things varied but with the essential simplicity intact.
It's a dying breed of games, and I for one am glad there is at least one franchise left you can count on for mindless co-op fighting fun.
There aren't nearly enough crazy spinoffs though. Gundam is great but I'd love to see them go wild with other licenses aswell.
