Rockstar and 2K Games announced name and release date for the DLC pack earlier today, and here are the first images of Grand Theft Auto IV: The Lost and Damned.
2K Games press release:
Rockstar Games, a publishing label of Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. (NASDAQ: TTWO), is proud to announce that the eagerly anticipated first episode of downloadable content, Grand Theft Auto IV: The Lost and Damned, will be coming to the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system via Xbox LIVE® online entertainment network. Available exclusively on Xbox LIVE worldwide on February 17, 2009, The Lost and Damned will feature all new content and is the first of two episodes announced for Grand Theft Auto IV on Xbox 360.
"Making these episodes has enabled us to expand the narrative and the experience of interacting with a game world in really innovative ways," said Sam Houser, Founder of Rockstar Games. "We hope fans of the game enjoy the new way of experiencing life in Liberty City contained in this first episode."
Since its launch in April, Grand Theft Auto IV has garnered unprecedented praise and acclaim worldwide. Developed by series creator Rockstar North and set in Liberty City, The Lost and Damned features a new main character and plot that intersects with the storyline of Grand Theft Auto IV; new missions that offer an entirely fresh way to explore Liberty City with new multiplayer modes, weapons and vehicles; and a diverse soundtrack with additional music - all with the incredible production values that are the trademarks of Grand Theft Auto.

Should be a lot of fun but it'll all depend on how good the missions are and what the price is before I decide if I'll buy it.
I really enjoyed GTA IV but thought some of the missions were a little stale. Although I absolutely loved the excellent physics and driving engine. Driving in GTA IV felt better than in most racing games these days, which is sad.
Yes f**king please.
Most likley the vehicles and weapons will be varients of those already included in the game.
Ideally I would have liked to see new areas to explore but there we go.
looks like all the work theyve done so far is copy and paste a biker lots of times and put them on the bridge.
EDIT. btw dingleberry. i dont know which gta4 you were playing but i could definatly hang off trucks. i was amazed when it happend. i managed to get onto the roof of a truck but i didnt realise it was being driven, and when the lights changed the truck set off and the force sent niko off and he grabs onto the side of it to stop himself falling, legs flinging in the air. i was quite impressed.

I really need to get a bigger harddrive, 20GB (13GB effectivly) doesn't cut it anymore now you can install games.. :\
Either way I am done with this game, played it non-stop at first and I really don't crave more, don't have a 360 anyways.
Curious how many will get it, there is a lot of game there already, most haven't even gotten to 70% I'd bet.
