Wii

Home Sweet Home is a game which is similar to The Sims in preparation for the WiiWare online service from Nintendo. It is a home design simulation game where you will have to create environments to accomodate you clients' tastes. Will you be feng shui enough for them?

With everything at 90-degree angles, all homes within this game fail at feng shui by default!

I always hated the 45 degree games because I couldn't get used to the controls; it never felt right to me at any point.
Brain constantly having to process that up is not really up, and depending on the game it could be left or right.

I'd probably have liked 45 degree perspective more if you actually could press the direction corresponding with where you wanted to go on screen, like instead of pressing Up to go Up+Right, you would press Up+Right.

I guess that would make too much sense though.

blah.

The Wii is TRYING to ruin gaming. Whether gaming will be ruined remains up for debate. Seriously, how can anyone think this sort of thing is a good direction for games?

I wasn't talking about the viewing angle, but the angles of the objects themselves, with respect to each other. You know, just a feng shui joke.

The Wii isn't doing anything, it's lazy asshole developers with no creativity that are ruining gaming.
