Excellent CG, average graphics.

C'mon Square, you could at least TRY on the 360 exclusive.

The characters looks good, but the scenery is horrible.

Its clear tri-ace really doesn't like 360.

If they didn't, this game wouldn't be on the 360 to begin with. And as for graphics, it's too early to be making judgements. It's an RPG ffs

Wow, I'm stunned this game looks that good, after hearing the whining about it. The environments have pretty decent textures, even. I'm assuming the shots with the big troll thing are real time...

looks good graphically, not up there with some of the other rpgs yet, but certainly meeting the standard required....seems quite interesting. Although the name is probably one of the silliest ever

The environments look like PS2, check out the leaf isn screen shot 6...looking good????looking cheap and rushed more like, enchanted arms looked a lot nicer than this....

also it just looks plain generic to me. Blue dragon - what ever people may say about the game, at east it had its own unique style...(and I personally love it...)

I'm surprised you people doubt tri-Ace.

The game is still in progress, and I don't see any problem with the screens thus far. They look way better than LO did around this time.

It looks slightly less generic than the other RPG they're making (I forget the name--the multiplatform one). I'm sure this will come to PS3 eventually, though, like Eternal Sonata and Enchanted Arms. I might give it a rental, then, as I don't want to chance another red ring from those long RPG play sessions (if it's even any good!)

Unlike Eternal Sonata and Enchanted Arms, this game is being funded by Microsoft but published by Square Enix. So you won't be seeing a PS3 version.

No Offense but Blue Dragon is more generic graphic wise then any other RPG really, there is several other RPG's out there with the EXACT same art style, the most famous one of em is probably Dragon Quest 8.

As for graphics, I can't even see how it's even close looking to a PS2 game as some here may believe.

Looks decent. This could be the JRPG to really shake the genre up. I also think the fact that the battles are in real time will help make this more desirable for the western audience.
Im shocked im going to say this but I think Xbox 360 is the platform with the best JRPG's at the present and for the future. Can't believe it though considering Xbox 1 had next to no JRPG's...

Looks great but I knew there was something wrong with Square making a JRPG for the 360. They stomped the hell out of Nintendo by jumping ship and then Sega by supporting the PSX exclusively, why would they do anything different this generation.

"something wrong"? clarify?
S-E got called in by tri-ace probably after hearing Sakaguchi whine for a couple of months now that it was all MS's horrible job publishing Blue Dragon in Japan that led to its less than stellar sales
but i'm not sure i see what the "something wrong" is...

eh, for the future...the ps3 has FFXIII stuff and WKS... 360 has a great line up actually...but hardly better, or even as good.... Tri-ace is a good developer, but main square stuff is better I think
