Ubisoft unveils the first images of Naruto: Raise of a Ninja, action-aventure game developed by the Montréal team exlusively for the Xbox 360. Since there are no other informations about the game, we'll just invite you to enjoy the very nice looking screenshots we grabbed for you.

Looks really nice. Is this an anime series? The main character looks familiar. With all these great games coming out for the 360, I'm glad I bought one :)

If this isn't a joke and Ubisoft Montreal is actually making this...surely it signifies a shift in direction from Ubisoft's leadership.

I'm all for this game if 1 thing happens. They stay AS FAR AWAY from the english voices as earthly possible. If I can change the voices to the japanese with subtitles, I'm set. The english voices of the series are SO ungodly horrid it's not even funny.

After watching some gameplay vids of this I'm confused as to what kind of game it is. The screens seem to suggest an adventure but the gameplay vids suggest something more along the line of DOA... Intriguing.

Naruto for Xbox 360 is a role-playing game (you'll be free to wander around villages and talk to NPCs); part Prince of Persia (as a ninja, you can jump acrobatically from rooftop to rooftop); part fighting game (insane one-on-one brawl in a wide open grass pasture between you and an aggressive, stretchy-armed foe); and part Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (running straight up trees and leaping between branches).

^Somebody posted this info once. Sounds pretty good to me.^^

I like the artistic style of the environments. They don't have that typical game engine, fractal-ish mathematical look to them.

I think the videos he is talking about are of the Naruto NGC or PS2 games, as so far there has only been these for screens and the leaked concept art from awhile back...

God, that's exactly right. It may sound shallow, but that makes or breaks this game for me. Unfortunately, being a North American made game, I think we are probably shit out of luck. It's a shame, it's a beautiful game so far.

It was about time that we could get a game of this time so we can compete with other consoles (and close some mouths). We need as many different games as possible, in one hand we have LiveArcade and on the other hand now we have Naruto.
I don´t thnik I´ll play it but is good to have it by our side ;)

Because a fox demon is sealed inside him. I hope that's not a spoiler or anything, but they tell you that in the first episode anyway.

I saw the first screenshot on a Dutch (not German) website two weeks ago. It was some kind of exclusive or something :P Looks fairly good.

3rd Screenshot is the best one! Looks like you have a lot of freedom so that you can jump from house to house. I always wanted a Japanese game where I could do that.

I hate the English voices as well..Watched ever episode in Japanese with subs thanks to dattebayo! ;)
I hope this game will be fun `cause I really love Naruto!
