After the target render, Namco-Bandai releases the first true screenshots of Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm. Even if the images have some really bad compression issues and seem to be captured off an old build, we have to admit some of them look spectacular. We can't wait to see some more advanced stuff.

Anyways, I keep repeating myself on here but none of the games on 360 or PS3 compare to the fighting series on Gamecube. I suggest everyone import that instead
That being said, Gaara in the demon form is impressive considering how immense he is
This game is gonna cover the first 135 episdoes, so that should be very cool.
Anyway, can't wait till this comes out. The latest trailer was impressive.

Not really all that impressed. Just looks like a HD version of the PS2 games the same developer created over the past few years...
All credits to Ubisoft for taking a Japanese property and showing them how it's done and setting the new standard, which this game obviously fails to match.

Besides the obvious bad compression, how is the first one that much better than the second? Backgrounds look identical in both. Sure, the "target render" has less jaggies, but far from perfect. I'd like to see good screenshots of the latest build.
This still looks pretty good for a cell shaded game though, but this time it does look like a real game.

Well in the first shot Naruto and Kakashi look they've been taken out of the TV show and given some HD lovin'.
The second screenshot looks like a port of the PS2 games from the same developers but given the HD treatment.
Like I said before, all credit has to go to Ubisoft, a European developer taking a Japanese property and showing them how it should be done, which is obviously partly the reason why this developer is wasting it's time making this for the US market when they could be making the latest game based on the Shippuden series for Japan, thus getting much more attention and less focus on the graphics like the western audience does...
