EA releases some new images of NBA Live 09. Visually, it looks really great and solid. And the ball is particularly well textured... Update: Gameplay video added.

why does it say "GAY GAY GAY GAY GAY" in the electronic banner in shot 1?
Maybe it's intentional labeling meant to indicate what the gameplay, and EA in general, is like.
Must be really good then.

And its a sports game, so no one really cares about it but the people who watch but don't play it.
I think it looks nice but I can't play basketball games. They just aren't that fun to me and that is why I stick to Madden. I would rather kill someone than dunk on them, who else agrees?

Why is the embedded video changed so that you cannot just load the whole video and watch it when it's done? The current buffering system just blows compared to that. :/
Changing this makes my 1mbit connection weep. Can't really use embedded anymore. So I quit watching the videos all together and watched them someplace else....

Hey, if Mister Gay happenes to be a multi-millionaire athlete, I don't think it matters much.
I have just seen the video and woah, at first glance I didn't realiza it was a game, I thought it was real. The animation is very very fluid IMO, looks real. 5n close ups you notice it is a game, but the perspective chosen to show the match makes it looks almost real. Very good job in that department.
