Suda 51 and his team let pass these screenshots of No More Heroes, that seem to have been captured while playing on a new version of the game. It doesn't look as good as the official screens, but it doesn't matter, it's gonna be awesome anyway.

It may not sound good nor look great but you know you want to eat it
is that still on?
funny graphics and totally wired gameplay
Supposedly some of the GSY people played it at... one of the trade shows and was very impressed though. I'd love to hear more about that, but there was barely anything written about it apart from a short news blurb at the time.
Killer 7 got away unscathed because its gameplay was so basic, this tries to be more of an actual game and that's what has me worried. Hopefully my concern is unfounded and this turns out ace.
i think the only thing it has going is the art of the game.... even with all that its been done before..........
As for killer 7 ......maybe one of your best experiences,,,,,, but far from it for many
I don't GET that. It looks like it does because of a bizillion factors and variables of which some of the strongest are; having a restricted canvas and having restricted tools. Necessity is the mother of invention after all.
It'll take a bizillion years for artists working on the new consoles to figure out they can actually go BACK to achieve things too. Instead they'll continue to ruin distinctive art styles by chasing after the latest buzzwords in graphics.
I think if you sat Mike Mignola behind a computer and said "I'd love to see what you could accomplish with LIFELIKE 3D RENDERED ART!", he'd chuck the computer out the window. Then he'd prolly chuck you out the window too.
