Wii PS2

Sims 2: Castaway sports the looks of Gilligan's Island : the characters are trapped on a remote island girdled by water as far as the eye can see. New images for the Nintendo Wii and Playstation 2 builds.

God, i wish people would realize what they are doing and stop buying these shit games :P This looks horrible for a PS2 game! It probably plays like ass too.

The Sims (+expansions) and The Sims 2 (+expansions) is okay, but the The Sims games to consoles has not been very good (IMO) - I just play The Sims + The Sims 2 on PC ;) hehe...

I find the sims in any version or format, especially all the god damn expansions, to be perversions. I guess my real beef is that i never understood why you'd want to clean your digital dishes or take a digital dump when you have to do it in real life as well :)

Kudgel: yeah i guess, but if you have a boring life, then why not play something exiting instead of "digital-do-your-dishes 2"? Just pop bioshock in there and you have something to be exited about, or like Civilization if you don't want action (just examples of more exiting games). Something that does not have "go to the crapper" as a main objective :P

Looks horrid. The My Sims game for Wii is the direction they should head with Sims games for consoles.
Doing direct ports just doesn't work...

Bioshock isn't exactly appealing to 8-11 years old.

Kudgel: Assuming that 8 to 11 year olds is the main demographic for the sims, which i doubt, i guess bioshock is hardly a good substitute, no. At any rate there must be more exiting games aimed at kids than this? I remember playing mario, rocket knight adventures, shinobi, life force, ghosts and goblins and land stalker when i was a kid and i'm pretty sure that i would have found the sims to be boring back then too.
