game looks stunning, although it kinda plays like practically every FPS ever...with a very close resemblance to that of FEAR. i'll rent it, possibly buy it. although it'll definately be lost within the big titles coming soon.

You're joking about the visuals being stunning, right? Seriously, an Xbox1 could do that.
Well, I don't think it's a stunner either. But if one can remember how Timeshift used to look at some point you have to agree it has come along way since then.
I think it has potential at least gameplay wise to deliver something unique. It will be interesting to see if will deliver.
After playing the demo I pretty much gave up all hope of this being anything better than a rental, but w/ Halo 3, PGR4, and CoD4 around the corner, who would make time for this?

well hes got a point. but i dont agree with him saying an xbox1 can do that. but an xbox1 can get awfully close to the character models (example: "Thief deadly shadows). this game doesnt look stunning but more on the okay/good/passable side.
visuals like this though in this fall line-up are not good enough to hold up with other games like halo or call of duty 4. maybe the gameplay might make up for it to some people but it still doesnt look that great.
The textures, lighting, shaders, and resolution are all miles above what Xbox 1 could ever do, even if the models are mostly Xbox 1 level (didn't this game start as an Xbox 1 game?)
These pics are so dark on my Samsung SyncMaster 900p (8 years old?) that I can't make them out well enough... So I'm just gunna say, "hmm... looks dark 2 me."

What are you people talking about. Some of you obviously never played the demo. It was leaps beyond what I expected especially with the destructible enviroments and the time shifting effects. I was also shocked by the AI of the enemies. They were very aggressive indeed.

This looks like it was made by the same people who made FEAR, so if FEAR needed a monster PC, and could only run on next gen consoles properly, then how the fuck could an Xbox 1 run this game with next gen features like HDR and occlusion mapping etc etc. Clueless yet again. Oh, yeah, you can "boullet time" this if you want. Don't give a shit.
