Sega released the following images from Virtua Fighter 5, recently announced for a Xbox 360 release later this year. We can only assume that the images released these days are from the PS3 version, and this time it's from the training mode.
Update: 8 more images added.

Commented on 2007-01-05 18:29:51 In reply to Sly_Marbo135DOA is more user friendly, pretty much for people who aren't looking for an hardcore fighting game. DOA is more of the type that you can play with friends or w/e and all button mash to big boob glory
Commented on 2007-01-05 18:33:44However, VF still has way more depth and is for serious fighter fans.

Commented on 2007-01-05 18:42:18Seriously doh, the only reason people bring this up, is simply due to the fact that DOA was the only fighter on the Xbox. If it had been multi-platform or been on another console, we wouldn't even be having this conversation. No more settling :P
@Wiggins, no it's not the 360 version. Those are the normal button layouts, and its from the PS3 version.

Commented on 2007-01-05 18:56:10Owell, forget it. It's pointless trying to play the VF defense squad when it won't change anything.
I'm done, carry on :)

Commented on 2007-01-05 20:52:48 In reply to gmulisPeople say it looks better than DOA4 because it does, Lebato. DOA4 has fantasic enviroments and is a very clean looking game..I even prefer the character design (<3 Hitomi) but the over all look and feel doesn't really go far beyond DOA3 (imo). The lighting in VF5 alone makes it a much better looking game. Plus animation, which others have argued for DOA, is much better in VF imo.
I'm with Kenshin. Go watch some VF.tv stuff and if that doesn't bring you around, than stop bothering with Virtua Fighter all together. It is pointless trying to defend something, especially something that's this great and can really just speak for itself.
But you're entitled to prefer the look of Dead Or Alive. That's one thing that's 100% opinion here, unlike which one plays better ;)
The proper answer, btw, is Virtua Fighter of course :)
