This one is more like Viva Pinata 1.7. They've added a ton of features, but you'll probably spend a fair amount of time playing the same gameplay. I liked the first one, and I'll probably get this one. As for the camera features, I hope they don't expect you to buy cards like Eye of Judgment, that concept really turns me off.

I always thought the small area was to increase the challenge. You couldn't just build everything, you had to carefully plan your garden, and only use what you needed to lure in the creatures you wanted.

But I'd certainly like to see a more open sandbox mode.

We all would, VP's gameplay mechanics would certainly lend itself completely to a more open approach. I would imagine any co-op features would have to support a more customized field to accomodate multiple player strategies.

There are some things I would like Rare to do with VP:TIP

1- Raise the Pinata/Items limits.

2- Multiple Gardens. (Maybe even themed gardens)

i so enjoyed the first one. very relaxing and a good break from all the violent games out. didnt buy the first one cause even though it was fun, a lot of the upgrading and enhancing got old. this one seems like it could be worth the buy though
