Wii

Family Ski, which was recently renamed We Ski by Namco-Bandai, has these new images on the Nintendo Wii. It will be one of the first games to use the balance board Wii Fit with some modes where up to four players will be able to share the screen. It will be available this summer in America.

I wonder if 3rd party Wii developers are trying to see who can pump out the most low-budget games?

Since when did next gen only mean better graphics? There are certain cases were better graphics can help the gameplay, but normally, I don't think how the game looks really matters. Nintendo decided to focus on making a fun, cheap console, instead of making pretty graphics. I respect that decision, but your fanboy comments aren't really necessary here. Yes the Wii isn't the most powerful machine on the market, but it isn't trying to be.

Can't say I think much of this game either though.

I'm calling out every serious Linux gamer here to make a port of Tux Racer for the PS3 and show these biatches who's the king of casual snowboarding games.

Wintersnowblind: What a load of bull. The Wii only does one thing, and that is cater to the casual gamer. Say what you will about that, but claiming it has brought nothing but a new wave of fun into the living room is bull. The assy hardware is also way overpriced for what you get. A 360 arcade costs only a few bucks more.

I don't know how this game plays but i cant say i hope for much. It smells of shovel.

I never said that, and I'm certainly not defending the the amount of shovel ware the DS and Wii are receiving. I was only saying that how the game looks is certainly not going to affect on the gameplay. Just because the Wii is never going to games that compare to something like Crysis, doesn't mean they can't be any fun to play.

Or are you guys really that shallow?

Winter: no i just think that the wii is an overall bad product. I mean, a game & watch game could still be fun to play, would you pay 150 bucks for it? The game might be "fun", but is it worth your hard earned money? With the wii, i think not. But that's my opinion.

You get back what you put in, and as such i think the wii is a travesty. Games aren't any cheaper even though they look and play like last gen titles. Why? Because of the wiimote? It should have been a peripheral to the game cube!

If the wii shipped with a regular joypad the whole industry would laugh, but because of the wiimote half of the goddamn world is enthralled instead, not realizing that what they hold in their hands does the exact same thing a regular pad does. But yeah, it brings Nintendo the big bucks, so i can't blame them.

If both of you join both your conclusions together, you would end up with the correct answer :D

Not only about graphics, but it has always been the biggest difference by far between gens.... And if not then you tell me what's the main difference between say Madden on the PS1 and Madden on the PS3? And what's the main difference between CoD and CoD4?

It's mainly graphics.. Gameplay is pretty much the same..
