Xbox 360 PS3

Disney and Black Rock release some new images of Pure, their beautiful acrobatic offroad simulation. It looks really fine, and the studio has a good track record. The game is planned to be released on Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 later this year.

They DON'T look like bullshots to me, it just looks like it has a rather nice game engine. Could prove to be a good game.

Looks too good to be true tbh, bet it doesn't look like that once released.

Still looks sweet though (the game that is ;/)

aye, you'd be able to see the aliasing on the wires at LEAST, since they ALWAYS have problems in every game in existance. these arnt indicative of the final product, thats for sure.

These pics look too good and too sharp to be true. Still, I'm looking out for this one.

Reminds me of the wide-open locations of Rainbow Studios games. (Motocross Madness)

Sorry. I gotta go with 'bullshots' on this batch. Those textures are crystal clear all the way to the horizon. And the dust kicked up is perfectly smooth and blended.

I don't think so.

The textures on the first screen (in the distance) don't look very polished though, I guess that except for the high levels of AA, the screens can be real.

I hope it plays well, since I'm looking for something SSX-like.

Hit me with the demo because I don't believe those graphics are real... but if they are it's a day one buy for me.

Look at A) the lighting and B) the AA. its a bit TOO much. Other wise it could be close, but definitly more then is realistic.

They're real screenshots but captured at higher than normal resolution - like the Gran Turismo screenshot mode. That's why there is no aliasing at all. Later screenshots featuring the HUD are normal resolution. The game does have pretty good anti-aliasing though. If you don't believe it, check out the trailers on Gametrailers.com - there is no way of enhancing those because GT took the video feeds themselves.

Looks great. Plays great. You'll love it.
