Sega also released this new batch of Samba De Amigo images, a game that definitely makes a lot more sense in motion.

Brazil colours innuendo?

Wiimotes aren't maracas. Nice try, though.

Potentially brilliant, but it is Sega.

I actually have the Dreamcast originals import versions ( yes there was Samba and Samba 2000) with maracas. It is an obscene amount of fun to play this game with the maracas. Not sure how it's going to translate into the Wiimote though as theres only one motion sensing thing (unless they've made it so you use 2 Wiimotes?)
Either way, the only way to play Samba is with the maracas.

I just played Samba again this weekend after seeing the screens of this game the other day. I completely forgot how awesome it was, an absolute boatload of fun!

Should, but more than likely won't.
You should probably play Samba De Amigo
I'm tired of the Sega bashing just because they dropped the ball on the Sonic franchise. If their collective still existed they'd still be making godly games... it's not their fault they had to split apart

Also, this game NEEDS maracas... god I remember carrying my long weird yellow/green/red box by the handle through the mall with such satisfaction

Nope. Music game, you shake the maracas to the on screen pointers.

Just the Sonic franchise, what about Rally, Nights? I could go on.

Nights is the first iteration it's had in at least a decade, did you really expect it to transition well to a next generation system? Everyone is more interested to see them make another one since Nights was decent but could use a sequel to live up to expectations
Rally as well. One has to expect all their franchises need time to make the transition to systems like the Wii, 360, or PS3

1) I expected it to be better than it was, which is bad.
2) Rally Revo is not their first sequel to it.
3) How much time do they need? Because at the moment they are going backwards.

Don't get me wrong I love Sega to bits, but they must try harder with some of the greatest names in gaming history. Or just leave them alone and let us reminisce.
