If that is how the game will look on my television when playing it then thats amazing...everything looks great, especially the lighting, really looks like your outdoors with the sun blaring. If this plays and animates well i'll pick it up, even though i'm not that into skateboarding games...
what i don't understand is how a game like this can look better than a tennis game, i mean all there is in tennis are two people and a small area that they play on....anyways i'm rambling...this looks great

I remember that small movie with those guys playing this. You saw this movie playing in the background. These are screencaps from that short movie. And this doesn't look like in-game graphics at all.

I don't believe it'll have as much AA as it does in those pics, but I believe those are in game.

Looks surprisingly good. But how many frames will it have? When it comes to EA I'd say 15-20. . . .. not to forget the constant EA-stuttering ;))

I'm sorry but I just cannot trust them anymore until I see a demo on the marketplace. That's as far as I go with EA . ... . . especially after seeing Def-Jam in motion in opposite to the screens they released before.

Agreed that they are doctored, however, NBA Street runs at 60 fps solid and that looks awesome, probably the same level of detail there as there will be in SKATE, so dont doubt EA will have good framerates, they probably wont be 60 fps because its an open world while NBA is fixed to a court, but I dont think it'l be 15-20.

Yeah this looks hot. Talented artists FTW. Doctored?!?! =[

I'd be surprised if they could make a game as mechanically tight as a Tony Hawk game though, on their first outing....

One thing that looks good is that the environments look real (no half pipe in the middle of nowhere), so a skate park in that game might actually have a point. But its being pub'd by ea, so meh.

lol. these are so obviously renders. Either that or they're extremely touched up. I really hope nobody believes thats how it will look while playing.

Definitly my most wanted game 2007. And as a skaterboarder i'm just so sick of the whole Tony Hawk series 'cause it just got nothing to do with real skating, it's more like "Tony Hawk's Hoverboardaction". And even if the screenshots are rendered or anything like that: I don't care. I just don't care if it's in 1080p or whatever, I just want a realistic skateboardgame. And even if these screens are prerendered the game surely won't look like crap...
Edit: And I'm also sure that it won't be as bad as TH:P8.
