That is a little lame that costumes don't come with the game. I pre-ordered the CE, and I assume the Five Costume DLC included is a voucher for one of the above bundles... Anywho, interested in the replay feature.

Things like alternate costumes should come with the game. Paying for extra maps or levels is one thing, but things as trivial as alternate costumes should be free.

Glad they will be adding the Replay, Enhanced Tournament Matching System, and New Points System for free.

And tho im not happy that the alt costumes have to be paid for right off the bat when i thought they should have been added to the game in the first place as unlockable, they look nice.

it would been better if they let pick your 5 character alt costume. Me wanting the M.Bison but not that pack is an example of why. If i get any costume pack, it will be the Femme Fatale Pack:)

Oh my god, the game isn't even out and they're charging us $4 per couple of costumes? This DLC shit keeps getting worse and worse

The DLC is really dumb, only costume that really appeals to me is Sakura's. At least they bundled the female characters together. They should be sold separately so people aren't forced into buying costumes they don't want, but hey, that's crappy DLC for you.

I'm really excited for the game though. Megido, the way the game looks great is in the animation, and the variations in facial animations that no other games really do. It's like high quality 2d art but in 3d. Technically the game is not amazing looking, but it'll run perfectly smooth, and the 360 version has 4xAA.

Oh please dont. To each their own. I dont think it's spectacular to be honest but you'd have to like the art direction they went for which I do and hence I think it looks pretty damn good. When in motion it's a showpiece too.

Now, Capcom shuv those costumes.... announcin DLC before a game's release is pure disgrace.

I'm one of the suckers who will actually pay for this stuff. I was looking forward to C. Viper's alternate costume, but that is the laziest one of them all. All they did was expose her stomach. The rest of them are pretty nice, though.

Stupid crap like this scares the crap out of me when it comes to the future of unlockable content in games, which for me adds replay value. Are they just gonna take all that stuff out and make us pay for it instead? Nickel and dime us to death.

why are they releasing this game incomplete? theres no reason why that "free" expansion pack shouldnt of already been on the disc. Its like Fable 2 being released without its co-op on disc... i'm sure people wouldnt mind waiting an extra month for the game to come to them complete and polished.

As for the outfits... well i hate this practice of announcing and releasing dlc within a month, let alone a week, of the full game release. It leaves a bitter taste ...one that can only taste of the idea that contents have been ripped from the retail disc and sold to make an extra profit..rather than have the extention of gameplay in mind.

Not only that..£10 for costumes? something that would of been a free unlockable achievement last gen. You cant blame capcom and the like to attempting to charge us, they wouldnt do it if there wasnt stupid enough people out their that never fail to pay for it. Its just a shame that their stupidity effects all of us as it will continue to denie us the full original contents of the disc as they'll always be ripped out (or locked in the disc ala darth vader), in order to keep those stupid people paying that bit extra.

It's great to see a game with some actual artistic style. It's beautiful and having played the game the last time I was in Japan I know it plays well too.

As for the DLC, the game seems to be retailing for less than a regular game, so I guess we now know where Capcom are hoping to make up the difference.

Releasing these pre or post release is absolutely disgraceful on Capcom's part. $20 to have an alternate costume for all the characters?!!? WTF? These should be included in the game. As someone else said, paying for extra maps/missions is one thing, but stuff like this is pathetic. Can you imagine if DOA did this? It would've cost me over $100 to buy all the extra outfits!

DLC is one of the best and worst things to happen to the gaming industry. And to all of you that keep caving in and overpaying for all this crap- you're the reason it'll never get better.

I really don't like seeing DLC content prior to the release of a game. As if $60 isn't already enough.

Yeah, that is true. Announcing DLC prior to release, means that these things were planned and that Capcom held off on including them because they wanted to make extra cash.

No, but this is the first time that Capcom has done it so it is a little bit surprising. They may do the same with Resident Evil 5.
