Xbox 360 PS3

Valve releases five new images of Team Fortress 2, multiplayer-only game that will be included in the developer's Orange Pack as well as Half-Life Episode 2 and Portal. Visually, it looks great and refreshing.

Just thought you should know that you said "Postal" in your description instead of "Portal." And thanks for the images!

yeah would be cool to see some new gameplay. The character design is top, miles away from the tired recycled things that most of the developers keep pushing on us cough*girlswithhugeboobsfightingintightminusculesuits*cough

I'd just posted in the regular forums, about the lack of screenshots/gameplay content being released, to help hype this title... looks like my wishes came true. Lets see some more though, the release is right around the corner.

1600x850? PC version maybe. I love the graphics and art style, only gripe is they disabled self shadows. Lets hope the PC version supports them. Must buy for me. Lets hope for a demo... soon!

Okay, censor this post if you must (or boulet time it, as you see fit) but are you fucking serious? Are you so sad that you wish Team Fortress would have self shadowing? That game is all about fast paced multiplayer action and you're nitpicking about self-shadowing... This boggles my mind.

Nintendo was right all along, this race for better bigger shinier graphics is fucking retarded.

They probably disabled certain graphical aspects of this game for performance, considering how fast paced this game is, they wanted it to be able to churn out a constant 60 fps, even if theres explosions and shit hitting the fan everywhere. But also this is going to be on the same disc as HL2, HL2.1, HL2.2, and Portal and its still only $60!
I say this Orange Box is a really good deal, and even better if you've never played one of the most amazing single player games ever made.

A game thats fun to play and flows well > a game with superdupermega graphics.

Love the artsy fartsy style of Team Fortress, but I have never actually played a Team Fortress game so I cant say anything regarding the gameplay aspects except that I am looking forward to sinking my teeth in to it and giving it a try.

Looks great. I'd like to see some gameplay though. The design reminds me of The Incredibles.

Yeah looks cool, but I think it sucks they've delayed it so much most likely because they want to release it on 3 platforms at the same time.. I'd bet if it was still a PC only game me and others would already be playing HL2:EP2+TF2 right now.. EA etc releases new versions of games faster then Valve does so-called Episodic content..

For those that have never played Team Fortress before read this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Team_Fortress_2

It would be "retarded" to create "next gen" game consoles, and expect the folks who shelled out hundreds of dollars for them, not to care how the graphics look. If you don't give a rat's ass, just sit home and enjoy your Wii games on a 13' zenith B/W set, and try not to worry about people who actually have standards. Crap looking $59.95 games are hard enough to tolerate,(Team Fortress is very far from crap looking btw)without seeing schmucks running around insisting they're peachy keen.

Left 4 Dead in 2008?

Well, I really hope they have implemented new DX10 stuff in Source by then, and good use of multi-core CPU's for better AI and physics etc..

I'm hoping some major developer is willing to take the risk and really make a "next-gen" PC game that *requires* at least a dual-core CPU to run and a quad-core or higher to get the most out of it.. If that's the only way of really moving forward to get new and better AI and physics etc in games, then go for it for once.. Sorry for most PC gamers then that still have a single-core system, but if we want to really move forward instead of just having pretties graphics all the time, then they have to really force people into upgrading to play a certain 'must-have' game.. Screw scaling all the way down for older systems for once.. And a developer like Valve I think is rich enough to take that financial risk.. Hopefully the game will be so kick-ass people will go 'I have to have that', and go upgrade to multi-core..

Are these PC screens cause they seem to have a lot of AA, maybe they are just post processed console screens.
