Not a fan of the whole medieval setting. Though, I did enjoy Oblivion at the time, so I still might enjoy it.

Wonder what the combat will turn out like, it can't be much worse than the "click on the mouse combat" the original on PC offers. Though ofcourse, it's impossible for a console game to do anything better than it's PC counterpart...that'd be ridiculous.

My close friend Alex is crazy about this Polish game. I watched it at his place and yes, looks like a mature serious RPG game. I hope the console version will NOT be censored!

the third picture has a touch of Fable 2 about it and the last picture is a little bit Assassin's Creed :)

The PC version is kickass. If they improve the combat, then this is a sure buy.

For some reason I just can't seem to dig most Western RPGs. There are exceptions of course. This, however, isn't one of them sadly. The environments look nice enough, models don't though.

I was avidly following the PC version until I found out the combat was the kind of excel number fighting which I just find tedious, if the 360 version has proper "hack and slash" type combat I'll be well up for that :)

Excel numbers fighting? What's that even supposed to mean? It's all dice rolls ofc, but if you think that's changing in the console version you'll probably be disappointed.

Aye, and it's a little more finely tuned than most click-click-click-style dungeon hacks. It at least implements rules of timing and provides you with different styles and combos. It's not horrible at all. It's good to see CD Projekt expand though. They deserve it!

Visually it looks... pretty simular if you ask me. The lighting seems to have been bumped up a bit though, but otherwise it just looks a little softer, which is actually aided by the loss of resolution. It looks good though. The models and other assets look identical though.

Am I the only one who thinks the textures look weird? LIke, they look ok, but they look sorta like old, worn, black and white pictures in some places to me o.o

Grift: no it works well all in all. The only real annoyance is that i sometimes break combo by accidentally clicking just beside the enemy or on another enemy :P

I will be interested in how the controls work on a console, I found the click approach on the PC horrible.

looks like demon souls, oblivion, WKC, sacred 2, and a little like fable 2

the medieval RPG genre is a somewhat over saturated right now

That monster with the bloody mouth looks amazing :)
Agree with skeetskeet though, would be nice to see a Mass Effect clone or even a Too Human clone (done right). A few more sci-fi rpg's :)

Also agree with whatshisname above, the click click click controls were horrible :P
Even if its the same system, it may feel better on a console. Maby its just me but pressing a controller button is sort of softer than mouse-clicking 100 times a minute :P

The Witcher, oh boy the game is awesomeness with some greatness added to it. Simply I haven't played this good RPG in a long time. No Oblivion, Fable or ME even combined can reach anywhere near this games greatness. Legendary game!

Then I guess I'll be disappointed, in my RPG's I want the combat to be directly controlled by me, as in Oblivion and the like, otherwise I'm not interested.

Well oblivion is basically dice rolls as well only there's no roll for hit or miss, as that's handled by collision detection, but everything from damage amount to critical and so forth is pretty much dice rolls.
