Atari today released six new images of The Witcher: Rise of the White Wolf, to be released this fall on Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. The game has both a new combat and graphics engine with the console release.
Loakum Ugh….scratch that previous comment. The upcoming Game of Thrones video game is a F’in mobile phone game. Why can’t they came an open world GoT game, like Witcher 3 or God of War? (> 3 Months ago)
Loakum By FAR, the upcoming Game of Thrones King’s Road was the Game of the Show! It plays like God of War Ragnarok! :) (> 3 Months ago)

Commented on 2009-02-06 18:07:12Wonder what the combat will turn out like, it can't be much worse than the "click on the mouse combat" the original on PC offers. Though ofcourse, it's impossible for a console game to do anything better than it's PC counterpart...that'd be ridiculous.

The lighting seems to have been bumped up a bit though, but otherwise it just looks a little softer, which is actually aided by the loss of resolution. It looks good though. The models and other assets look identical though.

Commented on 2009-02-07 05:14:40Agree with skeetskeet though, would be nice to see a Mass Effect clone or even a Too Human clone (done right). A few more sci-fi rpg's :)
Also agree with whatshisname above, the click click click controls were horrible :P
Even if its the same system, it may feel better on a console. Maby its just me but pressing a controller button is sort of softer than mouse-clicking 100 times a minute :P
