Really, it looks pretty bad imo. But then i'm the picky type.
I know this news won't be pleasant for a lot of folks on this site(hee hee hee) but... what can we do... a great news is a great news and we should share it !

back on topic, not too impressed by the visuals, on the other hand concept seems great though restricting it to Vegas may get boring unless they plan to bring expansions. I'm really digging the art work especially the image of the casino with the waterfall.
as for this game the graphics look good hopefully they can get the AA under their belt and drop the jaggies a bit...... but other than that
upskirt in a game... interesting i wonder if the strip clubs will be fully accessible in the game :)
Also what the hell is up with the sparkly fairy effects in the fighting pic?

I don't know how big the world will be in TIV, but games with those big worlds are never graphically bombs... So I wouldn't count on it they will reduce the jaggies... and that's not important btw. It has to run smooth, and gameplay needs to be fair and accurate. When they add some AA or other filters, they need to downgrade some other qualities... Nargh, you know what I mean ^^
(BTW: Does that cowboy-guy on screen N°4 in artworks gallery have tits?! )
(i also got a bit extra fired up by Farook)
By the way, does anyone know the artist who drew these artworks? Not the company, but the actual artist's name.
With so many Open World/Sandbox genre games coming out in 2008: Grand Theft Auto IV, Saints Row 2, Prototype, 2 Days to Vegas, Burnout Paradise, Mercenaries 2: World in Flames, Far Cry 2, Battlefield: Bad Company, Bully:Scholarship Edition, Saboteur, Race Driver: Grid and now This Is Vegas, why limit your choice to only two when there are so many games coming out this year in the open world genre?
