Xbox 360 PS2 Xbox PSP

Lucasarts released a new trailer and a bunch of images from LEGO Star Wars II, to be released the upcoming fall. This one seems to have a little bit more humor than the first one, and alot better animations too.

I had some trouble with the reencoding, so the AVI-file is without sound. Those who have Quicktime or some player that can play .MOV can choose the other one.

The last images in the first gallery is a little bit old, but I added them for the database (and the graphic evolution isn't that important for this game anyway).

The German press release clearly states that the game will be released on 360 as well (this was new to me):

It says that it will be released on eight platforms in total. These are: "Microsoft Xbox 360™, Microsoft Xbox®, PlayStation®2 , Sony PSP™, Microsoft Windows, Nintendo GameCube™, Nintendo DS™ and Nintendo Game Boy® Advance."

You are right, they just sent out the English one too. Great news!

There's no X360 logo in the video though, strange.

The first Lego Starwars was very entertaining so I was looking forward to the sequel, very nice to hear that its coming to the 360 as well. No need to worry about a patch just to play the Xbox version then :)

Nice, loved the co-op mode. Really not suprised that they're bringing it out for 360 aswell, this game will sell pretty good to. First Lego Star Wars game sold over a million copy's.

Well, the first one was nice to play because everything is lego-made, but the gameplay was the definition of BASIC, and for that I think the game is aimed to kids and really no one beyond that point.

^Then classic arcade games are made for kids which is simply not true. "BASIC" games tend to be more fun than non-"BASIC" games.

I can't wait for this. LEGO Star Wars was so much fun. Are there any news about a possible online coop? That would be great.

Now is when the developers need to use the shinny plastic look, as opposed to other games like PDZ, etc.

This should look tight on 360 with the ability to make round objects much more round, like characters heads, much more round as opposed to the round with points look, like in pic 4. Look at Solo's head and notice all the peaks in it, that should totally be smoothed out on 360. Here hoping its a 39.99 title, seeing as how the original was 29.99 on xbox, there shouldnt be any reason these should be more expensive.

There's not much to get... it's Lego Star Wars.
It's been a partnership for a long time, why not a game too?

Plus, it looks hilarious.
