During my trip to the Japan Expo, I managed to capture the seven first minutes of Dead Rising. Of course, it's still the E3 version, but I assume the retail game won't be much different. Anyway, there's no sound in the video, but there are subtitles. And it's still better than nothing since we're still waiting for a playable demo...

id have to say multiplayer makes any game more longlasting and everyone likes co-op, but you are freelance, you're all alone, thats the point. But ive been waiting a while for this to come out and theres only about a month left so hooray

Yeah co-up would lead to some very funny moments. Devising traps, acting as a decoy, using the other person as a weapon (helicopter spin!)...

I can't wait for this game to land on the shelves. Everything just seems so thight - the lighting, the setting, the camerawork in those cut scenes... very well done. DeadRising is the first in a wave of great titles to hit us.

If this is the standard set by Capcom, then we're in for a quite a ride. Bring it!

Looks really cool. Im allso disappointed that there wont be cooperative mode. Would have been so mutch fun like people mentioned. Live support on this means online ranking and archievements.
Then again. I havent ever seen coop mode on open-ended game like this whit hundreds of npc's roaming around. Dont know too mutch about coding/game developement, but stuff like that seems to be hard to pull off.
But still looks really good and propably going to be one of the very few singleplayer only games Im going to buy.

I hope you can look out for miles like GRAW when you stand on the rooftop of the mall.

It would be even cooler if there are easter eggs only visible with a telescope, eg scenes in the far far distance like the ones durring the hellicopter ride.
