Though I appreciate that they used old norse language in the game when they speak but with english subtitle.
Personally I'd love to see Itagaki given another chance and partner with a big publisher like MS for a triple A action adventure game. Another person I'd like to see partner for a triple A game would be Yu Suzuki. I enjoyed the Shenmue games but I just don't think the funding is there to make the third what it needs to be.
Koei publish these Warriors games because there is a big fanbase for it especially in Japan though they have no control over TN's making of NG series.
NG3 RE was improvement in combat and mechanics and IMO better than what was in NG2 just bad levels and enemies and lag in controls. But who knows how NG4 will turn out tbh.
Also after Itagaki's Devil's Turd (third) he has completely lost the awesomeness he had making NG so i dont have faith in him.
I think the best developer for a norse myth action adventure game is still Santa Monica by GoW devs since it needs to be on huge scale level and all that, but hopefully combat is much improved.
