I was just going to reply with the same thing, haha. I thought he was going to jump on the aircraft, chainsaw the wings off and watch it explode or something... well something like that ;)

The other trailers of this game have me frothing at the mouth though, so one bad one is ok!

It's hard for me to accept these goofy sandbox type games. I don't feel that pointless gameplay is what makes a sandbox title enjoyable. I like being able to do what I want, but most gamers want to have repercussions for their decisions that will have an influence on the story. That is what we really want in a sandbox title. Not some guy who has a parachutte that can be used unlimited amounts of time, or a grappling hook that latches on to something like a jet without having his forearm ripped off. It's just too goofy for me to accept because they went for a realistic art direction and setting that would have been more suitable for a more realistic universe. Is he bionic or something, maybe a cyborg?????? I need to know.

Not me, I can't wait. If the graphics were not realistic would it be ok? Have you ever seen a Die Hard film etc? The set pieces in most movies are even more unrealistic than this. It's fun!

While the game looks awesome, this trailer was just stupid. I was expecting Rico to use the rope to attach to the aircraft and fly off, at the very least. Whoever approved this for release to the press is an idiot. :)

Some of you really did not get the idea behind this. Much heavier and faster chickened in this one. Of course it probably was scripted take off and nicely timed drive with firetruck. But if you want something else to happen in this game, you just have to try it yourself.

It looked good, sounded good, was fun, was exciting. What is so stupid about that?

You don't know how to amuse yourself in this game. It is not games fault. So for you, this may be a Lost Cause. There are more serious/realistic games out there.

But the plane was heading down a runway for take-off. The point in moving was to take-off (Which it did), and it cannot take-off without being at the correct speed (obviously), so in this case all it did was take off as it was supposed to with a stupid red truck driving towards it?????????

it's called humour. i cannot believe that only 2 or 3 people here get what this video is about. what's the world coming to?

Alright they might have went for a humours take on the chicken game, but it surely didn't went very well.

Even with some afterthought, this is still a poor trailer in every regard. Poor direction, poor staging and worst of all anticlimax.

I really enjoyed the other trailers, but this one just totally misses the target.

I couldn't disagree with you more. Point was also to show how you can do many thing in this game. So there is this place where planes takeoff. You can:

1) Ignore the place and just drive with a firetruck.
2) Blow up the plane and the firetruck.
3) Hijack the plane.
4) Hijack the plane while it is moving with grappling hook.
5) Hijack the plane while it is moving with grappling hook while moving yourself in a firetruck.
6) Hijack the plane and connect C4 to it while in air and escape with a parachute.
7) Tether/connect a firetruck to a plane and watch how the plane will takeoff.
8) Play a game of chicken. I bet it would feel nice to get that timing just right. How can you say that it didn't look awesome when a huge plane nearly crashes with that firetruck?
9) Do something else.

I do kind of understand, why some people are moaning over this video. This video assumes, that you already know some other things, that you can do in this game. And in a way, this video really shows, what you can do with some extra imagination. :)
