interesting video BUT I'm getting a vibe that they have concentrated more on what you can blow up and how than the actual story...whats the story for the game? with it being single player it really needs a decent story because this whole blow what ever you want up will be boring after a hr

its a bit like when you put cheats into other games...say GTA so you get all weapons you can not really be hurt yeh its fun for a while but then its dull as hell and since I did that ive not bothered going back to play rest of the campaign

I loved chaining stuff and blowing them up in the second game, those were fun and hilarious times. Just being able to do that in a better looking environments would be awesome. The game looks pretty much complete with lots of gameplay and replay value. And then there's going to be mod support, even more replay value.

They can have a good story in just cause. It would just have to be not a serious one. A well written "comedy" about the ridiculous stuff u can do in the world with some funny characters. Or they can do a satyric b movie plot with intentional cliche dialogue, that would be hilarious.

I honestly lost a ton of interest for this game after hearing of no multiplayer support from devs. If the single player was Baulder's Gate quality with memorable characters I could understand, but this definitely won't be the case.

I'm pretty much the opposite. I love it when games still focus on what they do best and don't try to tack on mutliplayer. There are plenty of games out there that only do multiplayer, so there is no reason that games like this can't focus on single player rather than waste resources to make sure it connects to facebook or or offer some weird scaled down pvp or coop mode. Nothing against multiplayer games, but some of us just enjoy getting away from people sometimes.

This game isn't trying to be a deep RPG like baldurs gate or a story based game, it is merely a fun playground with a cheesy over the top story. For those of us with busy lives that can only find a few moments to enjoy a game, these are some of the best values. I will likely be playing this in spurts for years to come.

That sandbox gameplay is what makes it so ideal for MP and why it worked so well as a mod in the second game. Games like this get old very fast. They're a little one trick. And with no narrative to push you forward a MP mode would have been very welcome.

To be fair.. he's not wrong. The Just Cause multiplayer mod is a neat proof of concept but it actually gets boring super fast. But.. isn't that kinda true for all of Just Cause so far?
