Only worry i have, is that the camera looks really dodgey, just like in Hitman sometimes the camera is the most restricting feature.
not sure how sheps can think it looks like it plays like either of those games tbh, its far less tactical then rainbow and hitman is a stealth game (unless of course you play hitman how it ISNT supposed to be played?!?)
cant wait for it....and it has co-op, major bonus points for that.
I doubt there'll be any critics quite as enthusiastic about it as Jeff Gerstmann was over Freedom Fighters though.
Aaaand it might be a pile of wank, who knows. I've never really been "confident" about any IO game until I played it myself and this is no different.
Although I am not gonna get this game, it looks very good. These screenshots and this video is the best one or not one of the best videos of this game, really cool.
K&L is attempting to recreate a gritty movie feel and yet eschews the typical realism shown in those movies. Bullets kill or mortally wound, okay one of the guys is a drugged up psycho but it doesn't prevent organ damage or lessen the effects of severed brainstem!

but then non of that matters for kane and lynch anyway, remember, you said its taking on a gritty movie feel, which it is, now name a movie where the lead character gets shot once, becomes mortally wounded and died of loss of blood? see, not only is it a GAME, but its a game based on a medium that is possibly the most unrealistic out there....movies....never ending ammo clips, bullet proof hero's, enemies that cant shoot for shit. much like this game i'd hate for an action movie to be 100% realistic, otherwise we'd be 5 mins in, the hero of the movie would be laying in a pool of his own blood and urine and the movie would end. explain to me how thats fun?
Looks not so good as Mass Effect ( http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=ACEfromRUSSIA ) and Uncharted, but gameplay and story are great
I played it on IgroMir 2007, Moscow, Russia (GameWorld Expo 2007)
this video made me want the game, plus the MP mode is just so original which should be fun.
EDIT: im gonna get it, but im gonna get it online for about £20 aboutchristmas time.
sorry for my poor english
I'm all for co-op games, the more the merrier, but this video is quite a shock. There's absolutely nothing next-gen about this and considering IO was, I believe, the FIRST company in the industry to use ragdolls and physical jungle vegetation ala Crysis (inhouse physics engine for Hitman PC), this is a huge letdown. They're just aping what other devs have done. :(
To top it off, the graphics are very poor in the actual game video; the texture resolution is abysmal a little ways into the distance (floor, walls) and even the gun he's holding has awful textures. Gah!
Compare that to the "screenshots" and you might smell something fishy.
