The quite awaited duo Kane & Lynch is back with this new trailer, not really showing much but still quite good looking. These developers are definitely fans of Michael Mann's artistic direction.

game looks amazing. although they should mantion in their trailers they are the makers of freedom fighters as it has much more in comon with this game then hitman.
The shooting system and body physics have always been a bit off in the Hitman games, tbh nothing they've shown seems to have fixed it, it's all so surreal. I hope they sort it out.

So I was like "OMG Michael Mann FTW" and saw the trailer at once :) And let me say that now I'm interested in this game.
I prefer 8 quality hours instead of 30 boring ones.
I am a working adult with a family, few are the weeks where i can devote more than 3 hours of gaming, so the few ones you spend playing better be good.
It took me 2 month to finish GOW... i fear mass effect will take a year to complete :P
Back to K&L, the leaked demo was really looking great, i ll be glad to play that one.

Coop was confirmed for both xbox live and splitscreen. but i got a question, does anyone know when this game is going to be released? cause i read in this one issue on game informer that it's being released sometime this month but i cant seem to find any other source that confirms it. anyone else know?

where did u hear that from? in many other interviews i read they said the story would last around 13-20 hours. its hard to believe for a third person shooter but they did say it just look up some interviews. but if u do got the site that says 8 hours lol can i please see it here cause i am still confused about this game seeing how everyone is hearing different things.

This is literally a mix of IO's previous titles Freedom Fighters and Hitman. You've got the setup of hitman with scenario based levels where you're tasked with missions like "kill this guy" or "retrieve this information". The game is built with co-op in mind, but it's supposed to work just as well solo.
The Freedom Fighters aspect is in the light squad mechanics later on where you hire goons that you can order around. It gives you a simple, quick interface and is much more arcadey and less cumbersome than some of Tom Clancy's efforts for instance.
Personally, I think Freedom Fighters is a vastly better executed game than the Hitman games are. Hitman gets its appeal largely from its subject matter and the open ended nature of it all, but from a sheer gameplay point of view, Freedom Fighters is clever, controls brilliantly and manages a cross between arcade and tactics that really hasn't been matched elsewhere.
So basically, this is bound to be a brilliant game that's both interesting and fun to play, but whether it's a nice little melody or a total fanfare is a bit hard to say yet.
It´s obvious it´s still the old Hitman engine from last gen upgraded with some next-gen effects but apart from that the artistic direction they are heading looks quite promising and seems to be fitting the theme of the game.

I disagree, i think this trailer effectively shows that these 2 characters dont really like each other. at all. and you know what that means. cool conflicting dynamic between the 2 characters.
